Welcome to the Sgt. Alvin Jonker VFW Post 2326 located on the shores of Lake Michigan in beautiful downtown Grand Haven, Michigan. We are located at the SE corner of 1st St. and Columbus St.  Click here for a map to our Post.

The Grand Haven VFW Post is a service organization consisting of Military Veterans serving or have served in military hostile situations.  The time span began with the Spanish American war up thru the current awarding of the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.  Our members reach out into the community and nationally to provide support and comfort not only to our local members and families in need, but to other organizations.  Several organizations that benefit from our support are the Veterans National Home for Widows and Orphans, Operation Uplink (telephone cards for our active troops) Food Banks, Camp Trotter for Kids, Goodfellows, American Cancer Society, Ward Goff Scholarship, Voice of Democracy, Hospice, Salvation Army Adopt a Family and others.

Many people have been wondering what they can donate to our Military Personnel serving overseas.  We have a list of items that soldiers in Iraq have been asking for.  Click on this link to view the list.

New Post 2326 newsletter

The Commander's Corner, Jr. Vice Commander's Corner, Ladies Auxiliary News, Men's Auxiliary News and News from the Chaplain are now located on the newly revised newsletter.  You can get to the newsletter by clicking on the "Newsletter" in the upper left hand corner of this page.  I want to thank Wendy Siemion for designing and creating the newly revised monthly newsletter.  I also want to thank Meg & Sam Young for all the hard work they put in over years that they worked on the post newsletter.
